The Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinators Forum has been designed for coordinators to help and support you in your role in the workplace. The forum allows members to share their experiences, network with other coordinators and build knowledge on successful return to work activities.

As a coordinator, you have a crucial role to help workers achieve the best possible recovery, and a faster return to work.

While you have some specific functions listed under section 28D of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1986 (the Act) there are some other important reasons you have been chosen. Your employer believes that you have a good understanding of your workplace, and are someone who has the respect and trust of other employees.

So that you have a good understanding of the workers compensation system, your employer is also committed to your continuing professional development. This means you will be supported in getting the right training and support, particularly around the legislative requirements, entitlements and responsibilities of employers and injured workers.
